A color consultation usually lasts between 1 and 3 hours depending upon the number of rooms you would like to discuss. For each room, a palette of colors is selected for you by one of our home stylists and at the conclusion of the consultation you are left with painting instructions for each wall, all ceilings and trim. This information is presented on a color consultation form, that details the manufacturer’s color name and color code for walls, ceilings and trim along with the recommended brand of paint best suited for the job and the sheen level. At Lemonaid Design, we pride ourselves on picking individual colors that truly reflect you and your family, your space and your existing belongings.
We also offer exterior color consultations to help you create maximum curb appeal for the outside of your home. Our homes stylists will select a palette of colors for your stucco, siding or brick along with trim colors for your window and door frames, garage doors, soffits, fascia, eaves troughs and downspouts and accent colors for your front, back and side doors.

At the completion of the consultation you’ll receive a home staging consultation report that includes an itemized, prioritized list of everything you need to do, to get your home "open house" ready. This package includes recommended paint colors (if the color scheme needs to be changed in order to appeal to more buyers), a furniture floor plan, a list of repairs that should be made (if any), suggestions for curb appeal, a to-do list for cleaning and decluttering, recommended lighting and accessories, storage solutions etc. From there, choose to do the work yourself or let our experts do the work for you. We'll be happy to provide you with a custom quotation for our home staging services.
Complete Home Staging Services
Once you’ve completed a home staging consultation let us provide you with a quotation for our experts to do all of the recommended work. We’ll take care of the entire project including painting, any handyman or repair work, installation of new light fixtures, cleaning, decluttering, organizing, rearranging furniture and accessorizing. If we have made any recommendations that require a contractor (flooring or counter top replacement etc), we’ll provide recommendations or we can look after hiring the right individual or company for the job. We can even arrange for furniture rental from several furniture showrooms in Winnipeg if necessary. Any items that are purchased on your behalf in order to make your home show better, will be yours to keep and enjoy in your new home. Any and all repairs or home improvements will only be completed with your return on investment in mind. In general, our policy is to try and work with what you already have in order to help sell your home while keeping your budget in mind.

We’ll sit down and listen to your ideas and wishes for your dream kitchen or bath, take your measurements and put together a design package or inspiration board. This package will include a design scheme or theme, and product recommendations for cabinet styles, countertops, flooring, lighting, fixtures and fittings, appliances, hardware, backsplash, etc. It will also include a basic floor plan.
If you like the ideas Lemonaid Design has developed, and you’d like to move forward, for a fee, we can proceed with items such as more detailed drawings, budgeting, product and trade sourcing along with quotations, project management and installation.
